Movie Credits

Another movie is being shot on location in North Carolina. While many tv shows and films are shot in Wilmington, this one is being shot in and around Greensboro, but this one is a little more special than the others for me, mostly because of its star power........yes, I am a child of the 80's. Bigwig, would you like to go with me to try and be an extra? Maybe we could meet the star of the film and become two of his closest friends..........or at least score some tickets for his next world tour.

I have this friend that idolizes Bon Jovi. She has for many years. She's 35 years old. She follows him everywhere.

I make fun of her a lot.

Just saying.

Posted by: michele at May 6, 2004 07:53 AM

Trust me, I've heard it all before. Making fun of me for this is something Bigwig gets a lot of enjoyment from. I got rid of my self-esteem years ago.

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 08:04 AM

If Bigwig can't make it, I'll go. Good to see that you still Keep the Faith!

Posted by: Mason at May 6, 2004 09:30 AM

Hell, I'm already in Greensboro. Maybe I'll check it out! Not that I give a crap about Bon Jovi, but I wouldn't mind being in the movies! :)

Posted by: Kehaar at May 6, 2004 10:29 AM

Deep down, we all give a crap about Bon Jovi. Give into the dark side. There is no use fighting it, the pull is too great.

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 10:31 AM

I'll admit to a secret fondness for "Blaze of Glory". It's only because of the Young Guns movie though. I swear.

"I'll make you famous."

Posted by: Kehaar at May 6, 2004 12:09 PM

Your fondness is secret no more, and it is okay, I understand how you could like it. Millions have stories just like your's. Just say it, "My name is Kehaar and I am a Bon Jovi fan, even if for just one song."

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 12:17 PM

Okay, and I MIGHT have been caught singing along to "Dead or Alive" once. And maybe "I'll Be There For You".

Jesus, I think I might need therapy.

Posted by: Kehaar at May 6, 2004 01:28 PM

It's not therapy you need, it's front row tickets to the concert. I can give you the address to the fan club if you would like.

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 01:31 PM

After a short moment of panic, I am feeling a little better. The three songs listed above are the only Bon Jovi songs I could name off the top of my head. I'm feeling a little better now...

Posted by: Kehaar at May 6, 2004 01:57 PM

The only other person I know of who had the hots for Bon Jovi like this was that chick in Ally McBeal, man.

I'm just saying--You kinda remind me of her.

Posted by: Bigwig at May 6, 2004 02:44 PM

Just the fact that you know of Ally McBeal, and that he was on the show proves that you are in this crowd as well. Me thinketh you doth protest too much.

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 02:54 PM

Not at all. The wife watched the show, and bitched about him constantly.

"No-talent-couldn't-act-his-way-out-of-a wet-paper-bag-faggy-hair-jackass" is what I recall her saying, though those may not have been her exact words.

Posted by: Bigwig at May 6, 2004 03:26 PM

Right, right, your wife watched it. Good one. By the way, the "acting his way out of a wet paper bag" thing really doesn't make any sense.

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 03:48 PM

WARNING: The Bon Jovi post has had more responses than any other I can recall since Woundwort posted about Michael Moore's BFC movie. Nice to know everyone cares so much! Keehar, those BJ songs could have been "implanted" by me when we spent a summer in the Mansion by the Sea. Woundwort could burn you a Bon Jovi CD if needed. It might take about a year for you to get it though. I'm still waiting for the one he promised me during last year's FDS...

Posted by: Mason at May 6, 2004 04:09 PM

I didn't think you would remember that conversation so I haven't bothered rushing to get it done.

Posted by: Woundwort at May 6, 2004 04:11 PM

Kinda the same thinking I had. Yes, I do believe I started quite early that morning. But I am a veteran of such days. I'll remember it all until the sun goes down. When the sun goes down, my lights go off. I do remember we has a little trouble w/the CD player. If I had any tech skills(plus a PC) I could burn my own anyway!!

Posted by: Mason at May 6, 2004 04:24 PM

"lay your hands on me"...that's all i ask.
